Mobile Engineer

Summary: The Senior Full Stack Engineer role focuses on developing a frontend/mobile-leaning React Native application for a travel tech startup. The position requires expertise in mobile flows, UI design, and backend integration. The role is contract-based, remote, and classified as outside IR35. Key Responsibilities:

• Build mobile flows for onboarding, authentication/OTP, trip planning, bookings, notifications, and support.
• Create polished React Native UI for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Integrate with backend APIs using Node.js, Express.js, TypeScript, and MongoDB.
• Manage state, navigation, offline handling, push notifications, and deep links.

Key Skills:

• Strong React Native and TypeScript skills.
• Solid REST API integration experience.
• Good understanding of iOS/Android app lifecycle and release requirements.
• Comfortable working with Node.js, Express, and MongoDB backends.
• Experience with Expo, React Navigation, Zustand/Redux Toolkit, React Query, mobile testing (Detox/Maestro), CI/CD for mobile, TestFlight/Play Console is a bonus.
