Mobile Application Developer

Summary: The Mobile Application Developer role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining mobile applications for iOS using Swift and/or Objective-C. The position requires collaboration with various teams to implement new features and ensure high performance and quality of applications. The developer will also manage tasks, troubleshoot issues, and stay updated with the latest iOS technologies. Occasional travel to London is expected, although the role is predominantly remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain mobile applications for iOS using Swift and/or Objective-C
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to implement new features
• Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Manage personal task queue, ensuring timely delivery of development tasks and bug fixes
• Troubleshoot and resolve app-related issues, from UI bugs to API integration errors
• Escalate complex issues to senior developers or relevant stakeholders as needed
• Participate in regular code reviews and contribute to app architecture discussions
• Stay updated with the latest iOS technologies, SDKs, and Apple guidelines
• Provide regular progress updates and maintain clear communication with the team
• Work closely with QA and DevOps teams to support app testing and deployment
• Maintain existing apps, ensuring compatibility with the latest iOS versions and devices
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Ensure adherence to security best practices in app development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, backend, and product teams
• Provide excellent user experience through intuitive and efficient app design
• Experience with SwiftUI
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions or Bitrise)
• Knowledge of Firebase or similar analytics tools
