Summary: The Mobile Developer role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying a mobile application for a therapy platform that is transitioning from a web application to mobile access. The position requires strong expertise in AWS deployment and aims to create a seamless mobile experience while ensuring compliance and performance standards are met. This is a contract position for 6 weeks, offering an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful product at a critical development stage. The role is remote but based in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convert and optimize the existing web app into a mobile experience (iOS/Android)
  • Develop a cross-platform mobile app using frameworks like React Native, Flutter, or similar technologies
  • Maintain consistency in UI/UX design while optimizing for mobile usability
  • Test and ensure app stability, security, and performance, adhering to industry standards
  • Implement backend API integrations (RESTful services)
  • Prepare and submit the mobile app to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
  • Collaborate with the team on deployment through CI/CD pipelines, using AWS infrastructure
  • Ensure the mobile app meets HIPAA compliance and other relevant regulations
  • Manage and troubleshoot mobile app performance issues, including debugging and optimization

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in developing cross-platform mobile applications (React Native, Flutter, etc.)
  • Strong experience integrating backend APIs into mobile apps
  • Expertise in mobile performance optimization, debugging, and testing
  • In-depth knowledge of the App Store and Google Play submission processes
  • Familiarity with AWS deployment, including AWS services like S3, Cloudfront, RDS, and Fargate
  • Ability to maintain security and compliance in cloud deployments (HIPAA regulations)
  • Hands-on experience with mobile app security best practices and data encryption
