Miva Consultant

Description

We are looking for a skilled Miva Consultant to join our client's team on a long-term contract basis, remote, with the client based out of Elyria, Ohio. This role requires expertise in optimizing eCommerce platforms and resolving technical challenges to ensure seamless functionality and enhanced user experience. Responsibilities:

Evaluate the current Miva eCommerce platform to identify performance issues and areas for improvement.

Troubleshoot and resolve integration challenges, including API connections and data synchronization.

Enhance user interface and user experience design to improve customer interaction and satisfaction.

Address development quality concerns and recommend solutions to optimize the site's functionality.

Implement and manage API specifications, gateways, and testing for reliable system operations.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical requirements and project goals.

Provide expertise in eCommerce applications and SQL to streamline database operations.

Diagnose and resolve issues related to third-party tools, such as MailChimp, ensuring proper integration.

Propose and execute strategies to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the platform

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Miva development and eCommerce applications.
Proven ability to work with APIs, including development, management, and testing.
Strong skills in UX/UI design with a focus on enhancing user experience.
Proficiency in SQL and database operations.
Familiarity with integrating third-party tools like MailChimp into eCommerce platforms.
Miva Developer License is required.
Solid understanding of API specifications and gateways.
Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and optimizing eCommerce systems.
