• Large Dell Technologies Select customer that does a ton of business. If successful, this should be rolled into a multi-phase/ multi-year program.
• Dell is in the pilot stage of the migration and in the middle of discovery, but their PM bench is too thin and current PM engaged isn't able to give this the attention it needs.
• Dell is running their largest test migration this weekend, moving into production migration planning next week. Discovery is almost complete. Planning is incomplete.
• The PM for this needs to have vast migration experience. PM blocking 101. Project Plan, Raid Charts, burn down reporting etc.
• 100% remote

Must have skills:: Managing large complex Migration projects

Scope:

• Migration of ~3.3PB (3292TB) allocated, 1.6PB consumed of data hosted on 14 VMax950F's across 6 sites
• 477 hosts
• 14 Arrays
• 6 sites
• 2 months of discovery and planning
• up to 2 migration weeks per month (need to specify max/min events)-Up to 18 events
• up to 300TB per month
• pre/post-performance analysis (array statistics)
• pre/post migration task tracking/coordination and reporting
• migration event management
• Additional resource to perform health checks on Arrays pre/post

Assumptions:

• Migration tools are open replicator / SRDF
• No SAN migration (SAN Fabric migration is out of scope)
• ADA is out of scope
• Customer is responsible for migration scheduling and Change Management
• Host / server administration tasks are Customer Responsibility.
• Travel and expenses included for OnShore resources.
• Services will be performed by a hybrid team
• Migration to target net PowerMax Arrays and up 4 additional PowerMax arrays (to support capacity planning)
• Up to 10% of in scope hosts have production SRDF replication that will be recreated as part of the migration
