Summary: The Mid-Level DevOps Engineer role involves working with modern AWS infrastructure to deliver scalable PHP-based platforms within an agile, tech-led company. The position focuses on maintaining and improving cloud infrastructure, driving automation through Terraform, and collaborating with development teams. The role offers mentorship from a Lead DevOps Engineer and includes responsibilities in CI/CD pipeline support and infrastructure planning. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve existing cloud infrastructure built on AWS.
- Write and review Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with PHP software developers on feature delivery.
- Drive automation initiatives within the PHP estate.
- Work under the mentorship of a Lead DevOps Engineer.
Key Skills:
- 2–4 years’ experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Production-level AWS knowledge.
- Proven Terraform capability for managing infrastructure at scale.
- Proficiency with PHP.
