Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data governance frameworks across Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Purview.
- Plan and structure data ingestion strategies across both platforms.
- Define data classification, sensitivity labelling, lineage, and cataloguing standards.
- Establish governance best practices aligned with business and compliance needs.
- Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate governance requirements into practical platform solutions.
- Support metadata management and data quality initiatives across the Fabric ecosystem.

This role sits between Data Architecture and Data Analysis, ideal for someone who understands how data platforms should be structured, but is equally comfortable getting hands-on with governance implementation, classification, and ingestion planning.
You'll play a key role in shaping how data is catalogued, classified, governed, and ingested across the Microsoft stack, helping to build a scalable and compliant foundation as the platform evolves.
