Summary: This role involves leading finance transformations using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, focusing on various financial modules for multi-entity organizations in the USA and India. The consultant will bridge business needs with system capabilities, ensuring compliance with statutory rules while optimizing financial processes. Key responsibilities include conducting workshops, configuring finance modules, and supporting user training and go-lives. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct finance process workshops to gather requirements and design solutions for GL setup and multi-currency transactions.
- Configure and test core Finance modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budget Control, Cash & Bank Management, and Project Accounting.
- Lead data migration for financial master data and historical transactions using Data Management Framework.
- Define financial reporting structures and collaborate with technical teams on integrations and customizations.
- Provide user training, UAT support, and hypercare for finance go-lives.
- Support pre-sales with finance demos and effort estimates tailored to USA/India client needs.
- Mentor junior consultants and drive continuous improvement through process reengineering.
Key Skills:
- 8-10 years in ERP/finance consulting with 5+ years in D365 F&O / AX Finance modules.
- Proven USA/India project exposure, including localization for GST and US tax reporting.

Consultants bridge business needs with system capabilities, delivering high-value financial processes through configuration, workshops, and stakeholder alignment. Key Responsibilities Conduct finance process workshops to gather requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and design solutions for GL setup, multi-currency, intercompany transactions, and consolidations compliant with US and Indian statutory rules. Configure and test core Finance modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budget Control, Cash & Bank Management, and Project Accounting, optimizing for automation and audit trails. Lead data migration for financial master data (CoA, vendors, customers) and historical transactions using Data Management Framework, including validation and reconciliation. Define financial reporting structures, including financial dimensions, SSRS/Power BI reports, and electronic reporting for US 1099, Indian TDS/TCS, and GST filings. Collaborate with technical teams on integrations (e.g., banking APIs, treasury systems) and customizations, ensuring adherence to best practices and minimal technical debt. Provide user training, UAT support, cutover planning, and hypercare for finance go-lives, resolving issues in real-time across global teams. Support pre-sales with finance demos, RFI/RFP responses, and effort estimates tailored to USA/India client needs. Mentor junior consultants and drive continuous improvement through process reengineering and D365 release updates.
Required Experience
8-10 years in ERP/finance consulting, with 5+ years hands-on in D365 F&O / AX Finance modules across 3+ full lifecycle implementations.
Proven USA/India project exposure, including localization for GST, TDS, US tax reporting, and multi-company consolidations.
Experience in Agile delivery, onshore-offshore models, and finance process optimization (e.g., procure-to-pay, order-to-cash).
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor s/Master s in Finance, Accounting, or Business; CA, CPA, or MBA (Finance) preferred;
