Summary: The role is for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Consultant specializing in Advanced Warehouse Management (WMS) for a 3-month rolling contract. The consultant will be responsible for leading the implementation of D365 WMS solutions, focusing on solution design and deployment of warehouse processes. This position requires extensive experience in WMS and strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders. The role is fully remote and classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support end-to-end D365 Warehouse Management implementations
  • Conduct detailed requirement gathering, BRDs, and Fit-Gap analysis
  • Configure and optimise core WMS processes including:
    • Inbound (ASN, receiving, putaway)
    • Outbound (picking, packing, staging, shipping)
    • Inventory management, cycle counting, replenishment & slotting
    • Return logistics
  • Work closely with operational stakeholders and technical teams
  • Provide functional leadership throughout testing, deployment, and hypercare

Key Skills:

  • 12+ years implementing WMS solutions (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O)
  • Strong functional knowledge across warehouse operations
  • Proven background in end-to-end implementation cycles
  • FMCG or food manufacturing experience beneficial (eg, chilled, perishable, beverage, or similar)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-facing skills

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Consultant - WMS Specialist

Project: Meadow Foods - D365 F&O Package Implementation

I am working with a key client who requires an experienced Dynamics 365 F&O Consultant with strong Advanced Warehouse Management (WMS) expertise to support a major implementation project. You'll play a key role in solution design, requirements gathering, and ensuring the successful deployment of end-to-end warehouse processes within D365.

Key Responsibilities
