Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Solution Architect

A delivery-oriented, customer-facing architect who is hands-on, solution-driven, and capable of guiding implementations from design through deployment. Not a purely advisory or documentation-focused role.

Role Overview

Seeking a hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Functional Solution Architect to support enterprise implementations for healthcare and public-sector customers. This is a delivery-focused role requiring active participation across the full implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops, requirements gathering, and fit-gap analysis.
• Own functional solution design across D365 F&O modules.
• Independently configure D365 F&O, build prototypes, and conduct CRPs.
• Support Agile delivery, SIT, UAT, data migration, cutover, and go-live.
• Act as trusted advisor to customer stakeholders and leadership.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years ERP functional consulting, including 5+ years with D365 F&O or Dynamics AX.
• Experience as Functional Solution Architect, Lead, or Senior Consultant.
• At least two full-cycle ERP implementations.
• Strong hands-on configuration in one or more core F&O areas.
• Proven experience conducting workshops and fit-gap assessments.
• Ability to independently build prototypes and demonstrate working solutions.
• Healthcare experience is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

• D365 Finance or Supply Chain Management implementation experience.
• Experience with healthcare, public health, government, or regulated industries.
• Familiarity with Power Platform, Dataverse, Azure DevOps.
• Relevant Microsoft D365 certifications.
