Description
Job Title: AI Consultant (Microsoft)
Contract type: 6 weeks contract
Day rate: Competitive
This role is centred on technical design, development, and delivery of next-generation solutions that transform the future of work in the AI era. You will collaborate with stakeholders at all levels - from heads of business to technical teams - to solution, build, and implement robust AI and automation solutions. The focus is on translating business requirements into engineered use cases and minimum viable products (MVPs), leveraging Microsoft Cloud technologies such as Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Azure AI Foundry. A critical aspect of the role is to engineer the path for a customer to evolve into “Frontier Firms” - organisations that embed AI and automation at scale to enhance productivity, client value, and operational resilience. The solutions you build will typically utilise established closed or open-source foundational models within the Microsoft ecosystem, with possible integration of advanced techniques such as multi-modal, contextual RAG, fine-tuning, MCP, and other emerging GenAI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Build Solutions - Configure, customise, and deploy AI-powered solutions using Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and related Microsoft technologies, with a particular focus on scenarios that move the customer from experimentation to systematic adoption (e.g. AI assistants, digital agents, workflow automation).

- Engage Stakeholders Across the Business - Build relationships across customer organisations — from senior leadership to technical teams — and ensure alignment throughout the engagement.
- Documentation & Knowledge Transfer - Produce clear documentation and provide handover, trainings, and adoption activities to customers or support teams.
