Summary: The Microsoft AI & Automation Specialist will play a crucial role in a major AI and digital services initiative, focusing on the development of AI solutions and integration of large language models with enterprise systems. This position requires expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, AI Foundry, and Copilot platforms. The specialist will also be responsible for creating architectural plans, collaborating with technical SMEs, and contributing to the full AI model lifecycle. The role offers flexibility in working arrangements, either remotely or from Ottawa, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert-level guidance on Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, AI Foundry, and Copilot
• Develop architectural plans and patterns to advance the AI strategy
• Support Azure and AI deliverables, collaborating with technical SMEs
• Build solutions in Python and integrate with LLMs and platforms such as SharePoint, Databricks, ServiceNow, and SAP
• Design and implement integrations with external systems
• Create technical documentation and user guides
• Contribute as an AI engineer across the full model lifecycle (training, evaluation, deployment, integration, testing)

Key Skills:

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science or equivalent experience with AI focus
• 5+ years recent experience with Azure technologies
• 5+ years recent Python development experience
• 1+ year recent experience with LLMs and platforms such as SharePoint, Databricks, ServiceNow, SAP, Power Platform, MS Fabric
• Proven experience designing, building, and deploying AI deliverables
• Strong knowledge of model deployment and integration practices
• Demonstrated experience in technical documentation and user guide creation
