Mission
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 SharePoint & Power Platform Technical Consultant to take ownership of a portfolio of SharePoint Online libraries and associated business solutions following their migration to Microsoft 365.
The consultant will take over existing solutions currently supported by an external provider, stabilize and improve them, address outstanding business requirements, and help establish a sustainable operating model with reduced dependency on external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Take over maintenance and development of existing SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions.
- Review existing designs, configurations, automations, and custom developments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve usability, performance, reliability, and maintainability issues.
- Work directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements, issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Enhance advanced document management solutions using SharePoint Online.
- Develop and maintain Power Apps and Power Automate workflows.
- Support solutions leveraging metadata, taxonomy, content types, and document sets.
- Work with Microsoft Graph and SPFx components where required.
- Reverse-engineer undocumented or poorly documented solutions.
- Produce technical documentation, support guides, and operational procedures.
- Identify opportunities to replace custom functionality with standard Microsoft 365 capabilities.
- Define sustainable development standards and design patterns.
- Support the long-term rationalization and simplification of the SharePoint and Power Platform landscape.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Microsoft SharePoint Online.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Advanced knowledge of SharePoint document management, metadata, taxonomy, content types, and document sets.
- Experience with Microsoft Graph.
- Experience with SPFx.
- Strong troubleshooting and reverse-engineering capabilities.
- Experience taking ownership of existing solutions developed by third parties.
- Strong technical documentation skills.
- Good understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, governance, security, and supportability.
- Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate requirements into practical technical solutions.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AODocs.
- Experience rationalizing customized SharePoint environments and moving towards standard Microsoft 365 capabilities.
