IT Business Analyst Manufacturing & Quality Systems

Location: Remote (CDMX) with potential travel as needed

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Analyst specializing in Manufacturing (Mfg) and Quality Assurance (QA) systems within an SAP environment. This role involves designing scalable system solutions, aligning with global architectural standards, and ensuring seamless project execution. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP QM, Manufacturing, and related business processes, supporting system operations, enhancements, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Implementation

• Develop system designs that align with conceptual architecture, ensuring adherence to global templates and scalable system standards.


• Conduct scoping and fit-gap analysis for projects/enhancements, proposing solutions for key gaps while collaborating with business teams.


• Create functional specifications that meet standardized system design and business requirements.


• Support system implementation, migration, and upgrades with a focus on SAP QM and Manufacturing modules.

System Operations & Support

• Manage system health, including batch job monitoring, IDoc troubleshooting, data analysis, and operational usage tracking.


• Address technical issues, system optimizations, and process improvements in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Expertise in SAP Quality & Manufacturing Processes

Candidates should have expertise in one or both of the following areas:

• SAP MII Integration

Qualifications & Skills

• 6+ years of experience in SAP implementation, migration, or upgrade projects, with expertise in SAP QM or Manufacturing (PP, PP-PI).


• Strong understanding of SAP functionality, business processes, and master data management in manufacturing or quality operations.


• Proven ability to coordinate across global teams spanning multiple time zones and stakeholders.


• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field with specialized SAP knowledge.


• Fluent in English (written & spoken).


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP ECC implementations, system architecture, and CSV, GxP, and SOX compliance.


• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA transition strategies for manufacturing and quality systems.
