MES Cloud Network & Solution Architect - W2 Only

Summary: The MES Cloud Network & Solution Architect role focuses on architecting and implementing integration solutions for various systems including PLCs, SCADA, MES, and ERP. Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement integration solutions (API, REST/SOAP, OPC-UA, MQTT, OPC DA/AE, file drop, database replication).
• Develop and configure middleware, adapters, and drivers to connect PLCs, SCADA, MES, ERP and printers.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, device connectivity, network issues, print/driver problems and application interfacing faults.
• Plan, test and execute integration changes through change control and release schedules; ensure rollback plans exist.
• Validate integrations after change; maintain version control and deployment artifacts.
• Maintain integration designs and interface contracts (message specs, data maps).
• Train support staff and vendors on integration procedures and recovery steps when needed.
• Manage technical coordination with equipment manufacturers, MES and Other systems owners.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve reliability and optimize data flows (e.g., centralize print management, queue optimization, caching).

Key Skills:

• Enterprise Integration Architecture - Experience with OPC-UA, MQTT, REST/SOAP, and connecting PLCs/SCADA/MES/ERP systems.
• MES Implementation experience.
• Troubleshooting - Diagnose multi-layer MES integration failures.
