Key Responsibilities:

Job role… The Medical Writer will support on all aspects of medical writing, copy editing, proof-reading materials, referencing and uploading materials to Veeva. You will be responsible for developing copy for a wide range of omni-channel medical comms materials, including writing scientific documents, promotional pieces, training materials, and social media content. You will regularly assist the Client Service Team at all stages of copy development, interacting with clients regarding briefs and feedback and conducting research to support client briefs. Your will write materials for a range of audiences including patients, consumers, and healthcare professionals. You will be comfortable presenting and participating in pitches and client meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Spends most of the time writing, editing, proofreading, and referencing copy across the broad spectrum of healthcare and therapy areas
- Ensures that copy/content is factually correct and that evidence-based copy that is referenced from up-to-date sources
- Maintains consistency of message/strategy across all copy ensuring that all work associated with the brand is consistent with the client and brand guidelines
- Develops a good understanding of the assigned accounts and therapy areas
- Exhibits willingness and an open-minded attitude toward copy critique
- Develops a good knowledge of the regulatory environment in which the client operates, including all relevant governing codes of conduct, such as ABPI, efpia etc
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accurate referencing
- Works with all agency staff to ensure jobs are scientifically sound and completed on time
- Experience with platforms like Veeva, or willing to quickly learn relevant software and systems
- Possesses strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Administrates and organises own work to ensure that it is accurate and meets quality targets, reasonable deadlines, and reporting requirements
- Daily completion of time sheets via EASL
