Summary: The Medical Affairs Operations and Planning Specialist will provide operational support for vendor management and HCP/HCO engagements within the US Medical Affairs team. This role requires strong communication skills and a foundational understanding of contract management. The specialist will collaborate with the Operations and Planning team to implement new systems and support high-priority projects. A background in Medical Affairs with relevant experience is preferred for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support end-to-end operational support for USMA vendor management, including contract initiation/execution.
- Support operational activities for HCP/HCO engagements with USMA, including end-to-end consulting agreement initiation/execution.
- Collaborate with USMA Operations and Planning team to implement new systems/process or projects and provide project management support to high-priority projects within USMA.
Key Skills:
- Basic understanding of Medical Affairs function and operational support, with at least 2 years of experience within Medical Affairs preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced competency and experience with a variety of digital applications, including Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint), project management tools, and contracting systems.
- Excellent ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple competing assignments and responsibilities; project management experience preferred.
- Bachelors degree in the life sciences or in a related field.
