Summary: The Enterprise Asset Management Support Consultant (Maximo) role involves providing Level 2 and Level 3 support for the Maximo product set to clients in the UK, with potential involvement in project work. The consultant will engage directly with customers, assess their maturity in Asset Management, and participate in workgroup initiatives. The position is contract-based for a duration of 6 months with the possibility of extension or permanent placement. UK Security Clearance is required for access to customer systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 & Level 3 support for Maximo environment and integrations.
- Engage directly with customers and report to the UK Service Lead.
- Assess and advise customers on their maturity growth in Asset Management systems.
- Participate in workgroup initiatives for internal system automation and optimization.
- Work on service requests and incidents, ensuring quality issue resolution.
- Collaborate and work independently on technical solutions and improvements.
- Obtain UK Security Clearance to access customer systems.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or relevant experience.
- 3 - 5 years of experience with IBM Maximo in projects and/or support.
- Experience implementing and integrating 3rd party applications.
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java, Python, SQL).
- Desirable: IBM Maximo Certification or equivalent.
- Desirable: Understanding of data replication technologies and software delivery principles.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Position Summary:
Our client, a global Maximo – centric consulting organisation has identified a requirement for a support consultant to work with their UK team. The position entails provision of support to client representatives in respect of the Maximo product set with potential for involvement in Maximo project work and associated workstreams.
Tasks:
You will be joining our client’s team, directly engaging with customers for Level 2 & Level 3 support on their Maximo environment and integrations.
You will report to the UK Service Lead, covering a portfolio of customers within the United Kingdom
Direct (technical) communication with customers will be an important aspect of the work.
Occasional support for other clients in other regions of the world might be required
Where needed, you will assess and advise customers on their maturity growth in Asset Management and/or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems
You will be asked to participate in Workgroup initiatives where, based on your specific expertise or interest, you will be asked to contribute to a variety of topics e.g. internal system automation & optimization, upgrades of internal tooling and so on.
Day-to-Day tasks:
You will work on service requests and incidents reported, ranging from mediocre to complex challenges
You are expected to work both collaboratively as well as independently
You will be responsible for securing quality of issue resolution and effectiveness of communication with the customer
Participation in workgroups tasked to work on improvements and (technical) solutions
UK Security Clearance will be required to obtain access to customer systems, which is part of the UK portfolio. The client will support this application process.
Candidates should have been resident in the UK for the last 5 years to qualify as a baseline for this level of clearance.
What You Bring to The Team:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or relevant training and /or experience
3 - 5-year experience with IBM Maximo in projects and/or support, preferably in multiple industries
Experience implementing and integrating 3rd party applications
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java, Python, SQL) to translate requirements and configure systems
Desirable: Appropriate Software accreditation in chosen discipline. E.g. IBM Maximo Certification or equivalent
Desirable: Understand data replication technologies and the basic principles of software delivery technique
Work independently executing honed organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-moving environment with moving timescales and strict deadlines
Excellent communicator with a high standard of written communication, verbal, and reasoning skills
