Summary: The Marketing Assistant role focuses on supporting digital marketing initiatives with a strong emphasis on SEO, WordPress management, and local GEO-based marketing strategies. The position is fully remote and requires candidates to be proactive and detail-oriented, managing various tasks related to content optimization and website updates. Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute on-page and off-page SEO tasks, including keyword research, metadata updates, internal linking, and content optimization.
  • Manage and update WordPress pages, blogs, and site structure following brand guidelines.
  • Implement local/GEO-based SEO strategies, including location-specific content, citations, listings, and GEO-targeted optimizations.
  • Conduct performance monitoring and provide regular insights using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO platforms.
  • Coordinate content updates, image uploads, and landing page improvements.
  • Assist in general marketing tasks as assigned (campaign support, basic reporting, admin tasks).

  • 1–3 years of experience in Digital Marketing, SEO, or related roles.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Assistant with strong experience in SEO , WordPress management , and local GEO-based digital marketing . This role supports ongoing marketing initiatives, content optimization, and website updates while helping strengthen the overall digital presence.

Job Highlights

Hourly Rate: USD 11, the equivalent in your local currency

Paid Hours per Week: 20

Schedule: Monday to Friday, between 8:00am to 5:00pm, NSW time, Flexible during client business hours

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
