Manufacturing Project Manager

Summary: The Manufacturing Project Manager role requires a professional with extensive IT project management experience, specifically in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). The candidate should have a strong background in MES upgrades and delivery projects, along with leadership and communication skills. This position is remote and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage IT projects related to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) with hands-on experience.
• Oversee MES upgrade and delivery projects, ensuring adherence to methodologies and system lifecycle.
• Handle data migration and interface activities between machines and SAP.
• Lead projects in regulated industries, particularly in pharma, medtech, or manufacturing.
• Facilitate stakeholder management and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Utilize Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies as appropriate.
• Address problem-solving needs and manage high-pressure situations during go-live phases.

Key Skills:

• 8-12 years of IT project management experience, with 2-3 MES upgrade/delivery projects.
• Strong knowledge of Apriso MES upgrade methodology and system lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with data migration and interface activities (Machine/SAP).
• Experience in regulated industries (pharma/medtech/manufacturing preferred).
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Waterfall project management methods.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-pressure go-live situations.
