Role Responsibilities
Develop precision CAM toolpaths in Autodesk Fusion 360 for 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machining operations.
Program complex milling and turning geometries across metals and plastics, optimizing for material, tolerance, and machine capabilities.
Simulate and verify toolpaths to identify and resolve potential issues such as collisions, gouging, and inefficient cycle times.
Configure, tune, and document post-processors for various CNC machines (e.g., Haas, Makera).
Create detailed setup sheets, tool lists, and strategy documentation for downstream manufacturing professionals.
Author clear, instructional content, walkthroughs, or written guidance on CAM programming techniques and best practices.
Incorporate feedback from first-part results and inspection reports to iterate and refine CAM outputs.
Requirements
Have strong relevant experience in the domain with of hands-on CAM programming experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in Fusion 360 with a portfolio or sample work highlighting multi-axis programming and toolpath strategy.
Strong understanding of GD&T, DFM principles, and post-processor configuration.
Expertise programming for advanced CNC environments, including experience with a range of materials (aluminum, stainless, titanium, plastics).
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
Experience creating or delivering CAM training content (formal courses, tutorials, mentoring, or online instructional materials preferred).
