Manual Tester

Summary: The Manual Tester role involves extensive experience in manual testing across various platforms, including Windows, mobile, and web applications. The position requires a solid understanding of SQL, database testing, and familiarity with the software development life cycle. Knowledge of automation testing and web services is advantageous, along with strong communication skills and experience in Agile methodologies. The role is remote or based in Texas, and it is classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong working experience in Manual Testing on windows, Mobile and Web applications.
• Having knowledge on Automation is an advantage.
• Should have very good knowledge on SQL.
• Should be aware of database testing & Linux fundamentals.
• Exposure to web services (SoapUI, REST etc).
• Should be familiar with all the major stages of SDLC, STLC and Bug Life Cycle.
• Should be aware of doing the Requirement Analysis.
• Work experience / knowledge in testing the client service-oriented architectures is must.

Key Skills:

• Strong manual testing experience with web, mobile applications.
• Understanding of REST APIs and their usage.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with black-box, functional and non-functional testing (a plus).
