My client who are a Global Supply Chain organisation are looking to recruit an experienced WMS Consultant to work on exciting Manhattan Active WMS projects.
Key experience required
- Troubleshooting WMS related incidents.
- Translation of business process owners’ requirements into functional and technical WMS designs in line with European guidelines.
- Configuration of the warehouse management systems.
- Liaising with WMS vendor or development teams when necessary to provide the input they need to create enhancements.
- Test functional enhancements or configuration changes.
- Performing system testing and providing support during user acceptance testing.
- Creating reports based on WMS data.
- Suggesting/recommending WMS improvements and innovation.
- Being a part of a rotation system for on call support outside of working hours.
- Technical documentation and knowledge base documents.
- Documenting business requirements
- Practical experience warehouse management systems.
Required skillset
- Profound knowledge of warehouse processes.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Understanding about EDI and interfaces.
- Good WMS knowledge.
- Reporting, preference SSRS.
- Strong analytical skills.
