Summary: The Management Accountant role involves overseeing the end-to-end P&L responsibilities for a SaaS subsidiary within a fast-paced environment. The position requires a strong focus on commercial and relationship management, alongside financial reporting and analysis. Candidates must be fully qualified in ACCA, ICAEW, or CIMA with relevant experience in financial processes. The role requires 1-2 days a week on-site in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of P&L account, balance sheet, budget & forecasting activities
- Preparation of month end for both the profit and loss account and balance sheet
- Commercial price changes and all associated activity
- Full ownership of month end tasks from preparation through to posting journals and reconciliations
- Production of financial statements and applications
- Preparation of spreadsheets, reports and correspondence as required
- Support the year end Audit process
- Preparation of month end Packs
- Balance sheet reconciliations
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA
- 3-5 years post qualified experience to include P&L’s, balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments, and depreciation
- Excellent understanding of double entry bookkeeping
- A good understanding of end-to-end financial processes and controls
- Excellent communication & relationship management skills

The client has a fast-paced, dynamic environment – the role itself will be wide ranging and has strong commercial and relationship management elements to it, where you will have full end-to-end P&L responsibility for one of the clients SaaS based subsidiary businesses.
