Summary: An established foreign exchange payments organization is seeking a Management Accountant to oversee business-as-usual finance activities within their finance division. The role involves reporting to the Head of Finance and ensuring the smooth operation of core financial processes. The position is fully remote and offers a day rate outside IR35. This is an urgent hire with potential for contract extension or permanent placement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership of month-end reporting, including P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
- Cash flow forecasting and analysis
- Preparation of management accounts with insightful commentary
- Cost analysis and variance reporting across business units
- Assisting with audit preparation and liaising with external auditors
- Supporting integration work as needed during the acquisition process
Key Skills:
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or QBE with strong experience in management accounting
- Background in financial services, fintech, or FX/payments industry is highly desirable
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong Excel skills and confident working with accounting systems (e.g., Xero, Sage, NetSuite)
- Able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision

An established and fast-growing foreign exchange payments organisation that has recently completed a significant acquisition are offering the opportunity for a Management Accountant to join their finance division and take full ownership of the business-as-usual (BAU) finance activities.
The Role: Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of core financial processes, allowing the senior team to concentrate on strategic priorities.
