Would you like to be involved in supporting the production of City & Guilds’ new reform qualifications in Maintenance Operations? We are looking for two associates to write, support and quality assure the production of the Maintenance Operations practical assignments with the first assessment from September 2025 and beyond. The maintenance operations assignments with vacancies are as follows: 7255-265, which contains the following subjects: Plastering and rendering, painting and decorating, carpentry and joinery repairs and refurb. 7255-266, which contains the following subjects: Preventative and corrective maintenance of buildings, corrective maintenance of external property areas. As an Associate for Technical Occupational Entry (OTQ) you will be directly involved in the creation and maintenance of practical, task-based assignments which are onscreen multiple-choice tests, that will be available on-demand. The Role Profile outlines the expectations of these roles, and the Person Specification outlines the experience we’re looking for someone to have as a production associate. All activity must take place within the UK with the potential to travel to London for meetings when required, although it is anticipated that most of the assessment production activity will take place remotely.
Role description: As a Content Production Associate, you will play a pivotal role in the creation, review, and quality assurance of our Maintenance Operations OTQ assessments. This position requires a deep understanding of maintenance operations, strong writing skills, and meticulous attention to detail. These roles hold responsibility for developing assessment materials, revising them to ensure clarity and accuracy and scrutinising them to meet standards. You may also be required to attend assessment material evaluation meetings.
