Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Test Architect to lead the end-to-end testing strategy, governance, automation, tooling, and quality assurance approach for a large-scale z/VSE to z/OS migration program.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned Mainframe Test Architect and Quality Engineering Leader with extensive experience supporting large-scale Mainframe migration, modernization, or transformation programs.
Mainframe & Migration Expertise
- 10+ years of experience in Test Architecture, Test Management, Quality Engineering, or QA leadership roles.
- Strong experience with Mainframe application development, testing, migration, or modernization initiatives.
- Hands-on knowledge of:
- z/OS
- COBOL
- Assembler
- Easytrieve
- CICS
- JCL
- VSAM
Testing Tools & Automation
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise testing strategies and toolchains.
- Strong experience with:
- Test management tools
- Defect management platforms
- Test automation frameworks
- Regression testing
