Summary: This role is for a Mainframe Automation team member focused on enhancing automation design and performance across various platforms, including System Automation and Netview. The position involves engineering solutions to automate processes, thereby improving client experiences and reducing human intervention. The role requires collaboration within an agile development framework to deliver effective automation solutions. It is a 100% remote position for a contract duration of over six months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up NetView and SA in a GDPS Environment.
- Utilize system knowledge and project management skills to design automation for different platforms.
- Engineering solutions to bridge tool capabilities with business requirements for a superior client experience.
- Identify and design solutions that reduce or eliminate the need for human intervention, enabling teams to focus on problem management tasks by automating corrective steps in response to specific alert types.
- Deliver solutions using agile development methodology.
- Assess and analyze the performance of existing tools to identify gaps and opportunities to ensure proactive detection of issues before they become availability-impacting incidents.

As part of Mainframe Automation team, this position will be part of a team focused on accelerating the design and performance of our development of automation, integration into platforms and architectural design of multiple platforms: System Automation and Netview.
