Key Responsibilities:

- Resolve mainframe Java batch job issues.
- Manage queued-up requests and time-outs.
- Utilize Control-M and mainframe technologies (JCL, DB2, zOS, CICS, COBOL).
- Use monitoring tools such as DataDog, BigPanda, or Splunk.
- Follow SOPs and runbooks independently.
Key Skills:
- Solid experience in mainframe batch jobs and system monitoring.
- Proficiency in resolving mainframe Java batch job issues.
- Experience with Control-M and mainframe technologies (JCL, DB2, zOS, CICS, COBOL).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like DataDog, BigPanda, or Splunk.

The is a Mainframe Systems Operations Monitoring Engineer role. There is no development in this role.
100% remote but this role will be completely night shift 6:00 pm 6:00 am. The resource will be assigned a 10-hour shift within this timeframe. They will be working 10 hours for 4 days a week.
Weekend and holiday support is needed.
This is not a on all support role, this is a full-time hands-on night shift mainframe support and monitoring role.
The resource must have solid mainframe batch jobs, system and operation monitoring experience.
Must have experience resolving mainframe java bands.
Experience with Control-M, Mainframe technologies like JCL, DB2, zOS, CICS and COBOL.
They will be handling monitoring request and initial triage and troubleshooting.
Handling queued-up request and time-outs.
Must have experience with either DataDog, BigPanda or Splunk using these tools for system monitoring.
Must be a seasoned resource who can handle the task independently as it s a small team and must be able to follow the SOPs and runbooks independently.
