Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor IT systems daily (Mainframe & Distributed) and proactively detect system issues.
- Provide Level-2 On-Call support for Mainframe issues and prepare RCA reports.
- Create, modify, and monitor jobs using CA7 and Control-M, handling job restarts and scheduling updates.
- Maintain system manuals, procedures, and audit records, and support disaster recovery exercises.
- Offer technical help to Ops, Service Desk, and Dev teams, and mentor junior engineers.
Key Skills:
- 8+ years of IT support experience.
- Strong Mainframe background: Cobol, JCL, DB2, CICS.
- Hands-on experience with CA7 scheduler.
- AWS/cloud experience (preferred).
- Base knowledge of UNIX/Windows commands.
- Experience troubleshooting with tools (system dumps, trace analysis).
- Familiarity with Control-M, HMC, NDM, TSO, ISPF, etc.
- Strong communication & documentation skills.
- Able to work on-call (24/7 rotation) and mentor junior staff.

Documentation & Audits:

- Work on upcoming project planning with SDLC teams
- Provide support during disaster recovery exercises
Technical Support:
- Offer tech help to Ops, Service Desk, and Dev teams
- Work with vendors for issue resolution
- Mentor junior engineers and support shift leadership duties
