Summary: The Mainframe Network Engineer role is a contract position focused on the design, implementation, and optimization of Mainframe network infrastructure within a major enterprise program.   • Manage network security: RACF policies, AT-TLS, IP filtering, and encryption.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues, hardware faults, and protocol mismatches.
  • Develop and execute disaster recovery strategies and failover plans.
  • Produce clear network diagrams, SOPs, and change documentation.
  • Collaborate with system programmers, DBAs, and application teams for seamless integrations.
