* Deep expertise in mainframe operating systems, primarily IBM z/OS (including architecture, components, and functionalities).

* Proficiency in mainframe programming languages: COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, IMS, PL/I, and Assembler.

* Strong knowledge of mainframe utilities (e.g., SORT, MERGE) and tools (e.g., SPUFI, QMF, File Aid, TSO, ISPF, XPEDITOR).

* Experience with job schedulers (e.g., CA-7, Control-M, ESP).

* Familiarity with SCM tools (e.g., Endevor, ChangeMan, Rational Developer for System z).
