Key Responsibilities:

• Administer IMS databases on the z/OS Systems platform.
• Perform forward recoveries and manage DBRC.
• Utilize basic z/OS utilities such as TSO, SYSVIEW, SDSF, and others.
• Develop and troubleshoot Batch and CICS Cobol, IMS programming.
• Create and debug complex JCL.
• Write, analyze, and debug REXX programs in a z/OS environment.
• Manage IMS HAL databases and IMS Catalog.

Key Skills:

• Hands-on experience with IMS database administration.
• Proficiency in z/OS Systems platform.
• Knowledge of DBRC and forward recoveries.
• Experience with TSO, SYSVIEW, SDSF, JSF, IDCAMS, IEBGENER, IEFBR14.
