Mainframe Data Conversion Specialist

Summary: The Mainframe Data Conversion Specialist role requires extensive experience in planning and executing data migration efforts, particularly involving legacy systems and Salesforce. Candidates should have a strong background in database administration and data modeling, along with experience in leading large-scale data conversion projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute data migration/conversion efforts for IT projects involving Mainframe legacy system technologies.
• Lead data conversion projects converting large volumes of legacy data records to Salesforce or other SaaS/IaaS platforms.
• Utilize database administration skills to manage and optimize databases.
• Develop and implement data models to support data migration efforts.
• Work with ALM tools to facilitate project management and execution.

Key Skills:

• Minimum of five years of experience in data migration/conversion efforts.
• Experience with Mainframe legacy system technologies, including DB2/VSAM systems.
• Prior experience as a data conversion lead for large-scale projects.
• Minimum of five years of Database Administrator (DBA) experience.
• Minimum of five years of data modeling experience.
• Minimum of three years of experience working with ALM tools.
