Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct technical support for the NCDOR mainframe based legacy tax management system (ITAS).
- Participate in requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance support for the system.
- Collaborate with support team members to resolve issues related to the legacy system.
- Engage in design, development, and testing of legislative and operational changes to the legacy system.
Key Skills:
- Experience developing/maintaining mainframe based tax management systems using COBOL including Install/1 system management.
- Development experience with COBOL, EASYTRIEVE, MVS JCL, CICS, SQL and DB2 in a mainframe environment.
- Experience in Technical and Functional Requirements documentation.
- Extensive knowledge of software quality assurance and testing methodologies.

Provide direct technical support for the NCDOR mainframe based legacy tax management system (ITAS).
-The selected candidate will participate in requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance support for the NCDOR mainframe based legacy tax management system (ITAS)
- Will work closely with other support team members to determine the best approach to resolve issues as part of day-to-day support of legacy system. Issue resolution will often require software changes and testing.
- Will work closely with others as a team member in design, development and testing of legislative and operational changes to legacy system.
