Summary: The Maconomy Functional Consultant role involves joining a major transformation programme, focusing on configuring and optimizing Deltek Maconomy for enterprise financial processes. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, support integrations, and ensure successful project delivery. This position requires strong functional knowledge of Maconomy and experience in ERP implementations. The role is remote and offers a competitive daily rate within the specified range.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into scalable Maconomy solutions.
  • Configure and support Maconomy Financials modules.
  • Work with stakeholders to improve and optimise financial processes.
  • Support ERP implementations, upgrades, testing, data migration and go-live activities.
  • Assist with integrations between Maconomy and third party finance applications.
  • Produce functional documentation and provide user support throughout the project life cycle.
  • Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Work alongside technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.

Key Skills:

  • Strong functional experience with Deltek Maconomy/Maconomy Financials.
  • Experience configuring multiple Maconomy modules including: Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets, HR/Employees, Sales Orders, Timesheets, Expenses, Contract Management, Subscriptions, Reporting, Banking.
  • Strong understanding of ERP financial processes and reporting.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations and system configuration.
  • Knowledge of data migration, testing and financial system integrations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Maconomy Functional Consultant

Location: UK (Remote)
Duration: 6 Month Contract
Rate: £800 - £850 per day (Inside IR35)

We're looking for an experienced Maconomy Functional Consultant to join a major transformation programme. This role will suit someone with strong functional knowledge of Deltek Maconomy who can work closely with business stakeholders to configure, optimise and support enterprise financial processes.
You'll play a key role in delivering enhancements across the Maconomy platform, gathering business requirements, configuring financial modules, supporting integrations and ensuring successful project delivery.

* 5+ years' experience as a Functional Consultant or ERP Consultant.
* Proven experience delivering Maconomy Financials solutions.
* Strong background in finance systems implementation, optimisation and support.
* Experience working directly with business stakeholders across multiple industries.
