Summary: The Machine Learning Engineer role involves leading the migration of machine learning capabilities from AWS Sagemaker to Snowflake ML, requiring hands-on experience with Snowflake ML and Python. The position focuses on optimizing ML capabilities within Snowflake and ensuring existing ML models function effectively in the new environment. This is a remote position with occasional in-person meetings in Bristol, offered as a 3-month initial contract. The role is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of ML capabilities from AWS Sagemaker to Snowflake ML.
- Proof existing ML models for compatibility with Snowflake.
- Drive optimization of ML capabilities within Snowflake.
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake ML.
- Python expertise, including Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, and Pytorch.
- Strong understanding of model deployment and MLOps.
- Experience in designing and implementing MLOps frameworks and best practices.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- AWS Sagemaker experience is a nice to have.
- Experience with feature stores, model registries, and ML observability tooling.
