M365 migration opportunity

Summary: The role involves utilizing the Quest ODM migration tool to facilitate the migration of Exchange mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams data from source to target tenants. The consultant will be responsible for configuring necessary tools and conducting extensive data migrations, including user mailboxes and workstations. The position requires finding a consultant team experienced with the Quest ODM tool to ensure successful implementation. If no suitable team is found, the organization is prepared to move on from the tool due to prior investment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure Quest tools to migrate user data from source to target tenants.
• Configure Entra ID Connect for AD sync and Password sync in the target tenant.
• Migrate approximately 20 sites in SharePoint online from source to target tenants.
• Migrate approximately 2TB of OneDrive for Business data from source to target tenants.
• Migrate approximately 115 user mailbox data from source to target tenants.
• Manage the migration of approximately 2.8TB of mailbox data, with an average mailbox size of ~28.5GB.
• Migrate approximately 4.5TB of archive mailbox data to the target tenant.
• Migrate approximately 135 workstations from the Source Azure AD to the Target Azure AD.
• Review target Intune device management policies.
• Note that servers are currently in the target AD and will not require migrating.

Key Skills:

• Experience with Quest ODM migration tool.
• Knowledge of Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams migrations.
• Familiarity with Entra ID Connect for AD sync and Password sync.
• Ability to manage large data migrations (mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Understanding of Azure AD and Intune device management.
