Summary: The Low Latency Network Engineer role is focused on supporting high-performance electronic trading environments, requiring extensive experience in network engineering and a deep understanding of trading systems. Key Responsibilities:

  • 20+ years of overall IT and Network Engineering experience.
  • Strong experience supporting Electronic Trading, Algorithmic Trading, DMA, or HFT environments.
  • Deep understanding of market data delivery and trading lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of FIX protocols and exchange binary protocols such as OUCH and ITCH.
  • Hands-on experience with feed handlers, order routers, and smart order routing systems.
  • Advanced expertise in routing and switching technologies.
  • Experience with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, NAT, GRE, and IPSEC.
  • Strong switching expertise including VLAN/VXLAN, Spine-Leaf, STP, vPC/MLAG, QoS, and HSRP/VRRP.
  • Strong experience with Cisco Nexus platforms and low latency switching technologies.
  • Experience with multicast technologies including PIM and IGMP.
