Looking for Technical Project Manager Infrastructure & Networking - Remote Role

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with 5 6 years of hands-on experience managing infrastructure and networking projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of core IT infrastructure components, excellent coordination skills, and a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders. This is a contract-to-hire role, offering long-term career potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end infrastructure and network-related projects, including upgrades, deployments, and system integrations
• Coordinate with internal IT, networking, security, and operations teams to ensure timely project execution
• Define scope, create project plans, and manage timelines, resources, and budgets
• Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and provide mitigation plans
• Work closely with vendors for hardware/software procurement and implementation
• Conduct regular project status meetings and stakeholder updates
• Maintain documentation, including technical requirements, change logs, and post-project reviews

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5 6 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in IT infrastructure environments
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, switches, firewalls, VPN, etc.)
• Experience managing infrastructure upgrades, data center migrations, or network refreshes
• Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, MS Project, ServiceNow, or Asana
• Ability to manage cross-functional technical teams and external vendors
• Excellent communication, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Bachelor s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field

Nice to Have:

• Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or CompTIA Network+
• Prior experience in contract-to-hire environments
• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is a plus
