Role Details
Position: Locum Senior Commercial Contracts & Procurement Lawyer
Working Arrangement: Full Time, predominantly remote working with occasional office attendance preferred
Duration: Initial 3-6 months with the strong likelihood of extension
Rate: Up to £75 per hour (umbrella) – Outside IR35 may be considered
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Senior member of the Commercial Contracts and Procurement team
- Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
- Manage a varied caseload, to include Public Health Contracts
- Supervise members of the Commercial team, including two junior Lawyers
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive (or equivalent) with experience in Commercial Contracts and Procurement Law
- Previous Local Government experience is essential
- Previous management experience is desirable
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and supervise junior team members
