Locum Childcare Lawyer

3-6 months

£55-60 umbrella

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Childcare Lawyer to join a well-regarded local authority in the southwest region.

The successful Childcare Lawyer will manage a varied caseload of public law children matters, including care proceedings and pre-proceedings work. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a full caseload of childcare matters
  • Providing legal advice on all aspects of public law children's work
  • Drafting legal documentation, including statements and threshold documents

The ideal candidate will be available to join the authority within the next few weeks to offer fulltime hours on a remote basis. Some adhoc attendance in the office for team away days would be welcomed although not essential.
