Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated tests for content platforms and websites
- Lead efforts in migrating processes and infrastructure to GitHub
- Build apps and integrations between internal and external systems
- Train machine learning models and implement AI for automation tasks
- Contribute significantly to shaping the platform that supports the organization's content initiatives
- Apply and optimize cloud technologies relevant to the project
- Assist the lead engineer in technical decision-making and problem-solving
Key Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in software development industry
- Strong technical depth and involvement with Node.js, TypeScript, and GitHub Actions
- Comfortable handling large volumes of files across many different file formats (HTML, XML, JSON, YML, markdown) and an understanding of character encodings
- Familiarity with git workflows (branching, pull requests), APIs (REST, OpenAPI), CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions), front-end frameworks (React), testing frameworks (Playwright), static site generators (MadCap Flare, Jekyll, Gatsby, Next.js, Astro), and search indexing tools (Azure Cognitive Search, Swiftype)
- Strong problem-solving skills—you enjoy figuring out how things work (and how they can work better)
- A willingness to learn new tools like CMS or TMS systems as part of your job
- Great communication skills—you can explain technical concepts clearly to teammates who might not be engineers
