Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop system replacement approach and plan for Powerbroker.
  • Create detailed replacement plans including tasks, timelines, and resource owners.
  • Review replacement approach with the customer and obtain approval.
  • Manage the Powerbroker replacement plan and customer-owned activities.
  • Provide operational support for existing HPHC Powerbroker deployment, policies, and configuration.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer support to the customer.

Key Skills:

  • 7+ years as a Linux System Administrator with experience in elevated privilege management using SUDO.
  • 5+ years of experience with Beyond Trust Powerbroker Endpoint Management for Unix & Linux.
  • Understanding of least privilege principles and policy creation.
  • Working knowledge of management console functionality like PBRUN.
  • Troubleshooting experience related to policy conflicts or access issues.
  • Background in Delinea Centrify and/or Active Directory administration is a plus.
  • Understanding of Powerbroker versus SUDO operations and migration experience is advantageous.

NTT DATA's Client is currently seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to join their team in REMOTE, Massachusetts (US-MA), United States (US).

Job Description:
Daily Responsibilities
System Replacement Advisory Services. Develop system replacement approach and plan for Powerbroker. Create a detailed replacement plan that will include tasks, timelines and resource owners assigned to the tasks. Review replacement approach and plan with Customer, obtain Customer approval, and sign off. Manage Powerbroker replacement plan. Manage Customer owned activities for system replacements, as assigned by Customer. Powerbroker Support. Provide operational support for existing HPHC Powerbroker deployment, policies, and configuration. Provide knowledge transfer support to Customer

Must Have:
7+ years as a Linux System administrator with a detailed background in setup, configuration and management of elevated privilege and credentials using SUDO.
Must have 5+ years' experience and understanding of Beyond Trust Powerbroker Endpoint Management for Unix & Linux.
Understanding on how to implement least privilege principles including creating and defining policies.
Working knowledge and experience with management console as well as functionality like PBRUN
Troubleshooting background in root cause related to policy conflicts or access issues
Nice to Have
Background in Delinea Centrify and/or Active Directory administration.
Detailed understanding of the differences in operations, setup, and deployment of Powerbroker verse SUDO with migration/conversion experience a significant plus
