Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure LinuxONE servers, integrating them with FS9600 storage and SAN switches.
- Implement bare-metal Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and KVM LPARs.
- Set up and administer Red Hat OpenShift clusters, IBM MQ, and Kafka platforms.
- Deploy HAProxy and Keepalived load balancing solutions to ensure high availability.
- Configure enterprise monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, Node Exporter, and IBM Z HMC Exporter.
- Automate environment provisioning and patching using Ansible, Jenkins, and Yum repositories.
- Support Oracle workloads and administer Red Hat Identity Manager and source code repositories.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with LinuxONE hardware deployment, SAN switch integration, and IBM FS9600 storage.
- Deep knowledge of bare-metal RHEL LPAR implementation and KVM LPAR administration.
- Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift, IBM MQ, and Apache Kafka.
- Infrastructure experience with HAProxy and Keepalived.
- Proficiency in Prometheus, Grafana, and IBM Z HMC Exporter integration.
- Strong skills in Ansible control node management, Jenkins administration, and Yum repository maintenance.
- Familiarity with Red Hat Identity Manager and supporting Oracle workloads.
