Key Responsibilities:
- Perform linguistic analyses on large multilingual datasets.
- Conduct linguistic error analysis of AI model outputs and identify frequent and severe error categories.
- Write, review, and revise annotation and translation guidelines for human labeling projects.
- Conduct sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, pragmatics, and discourse analysis research across multiple languages.
- Analyze Responsible AI concerns including toxic language, hate speech, gender bias, and cultural bias in multilingual settings.
- Conduct literature reviews on NLP-adjacent and linguistic research topics and summarize findings clearly.
- Evaluate and compare linguistic deliverables from vendors, identify error patterns, and provide actionable feedback.
- Provide expert guidance on linguistic domains including Language Typology, Morphology, Syntax, Sociolinguistics, Pragmatics, Phonetics/Phonology, Corpus Linguistics, and Writing Systems.
- Collaborate with native speakers across multiple languages and cultures.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to engineers, NLP researchers, and data scientists.
- Support multilingual AI research initiatives and contribute to research papers where applicable.
Key Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python programming (mandatory).
