Summary: The Lifeline Manager role involves leading and managing a team of Lifeline Caseworkers within a pet fostering service aimed at supporting individuals fleeing domestic abuse. The position requires strong organizational skills and experience in managing volunteers and employees, with a focus on building partnerships and overseeing service referrals. This is a remote position based in London and the South East, offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role is specifically for women, in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and line management of Lifeline Caseworkers, including performance management and appraisals.
- Recruitment and management of project volunteers, promoting and developing the service.
- Overseeing referrals and arranging safe transportation and collection of cats.
- Building partnerships with local domestic abuse services and relevant organizations.
- Promotion, development, and monitoring of the service across London and the South East.
Key Skills:
- Experience supporting individuals experiencing domestic abuse.
- Experience managing and leading volunteer and employee teams.
- Able to handle sensitive situations and cope under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
- Understanding of cat care and welfare issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
