Leicester City Council's Major Adaptations Team is seeking a part-time Qualified Occupational Therapist to support assessments for major home adaptations. This role is vital in helping adults maintain independence and safety in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct home-based assessments across Leicester for major adaptations, including stairlifts, through-floor lifts, building extensions, and other modifications.
Collaborate with service users to identify practical solutions tailored to their specific needs.
Work closely with contractors, health professionals, and social care teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain accurate records and adhere to local authority guidelines and procedures.

Essential Requirements:

Qualification in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration.
Experience in Adult Social Care and home adaptation assessments.
Excellent communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills.
Confidence in managing home visits and assessing for complex adaptation requirements.
