Summary: The role of Intellectual Property Law AI Tutor involves guiding research teams in enhancing AI model performance related to Intellectual Property Law. Key Responsibilities:
- Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance in Intellectual Property (IP) Law.
- Create and maintain precise annotation standards tailored to IP Law.
- Translate complex legal expertise into structured, teachable content for AI systems.
- Develop evaluation rubrics and structured feedback frameworks for IP-related legal reasoning.
- Design domain-relevant tasks (e.g., patents, copyrights, trademarks, licensing) and provide accurate, well-structured solutions.
- Evaluate tasks and solutions with clear written feedback.
- Collaborate with other SMEs to ensure consistency and accuracy of training data.
- Join calibration calls with the research team 2–5x per week.
Key Skills:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school, or advanced degree in a relevant field from a top-tier university.
- Strong professional Intellectual Property Law experience at a reputable institution (excluding internships or clerkships).
