Legal Credit Controller
6 month contract
100% remote / home based
Due to rapid growth, this innovative commercial law firm in London is looking for an experienced Credit Controller from a legal background to join its AR team on a 6 month contract. Reporting into the Credit Control Manager, you will be assisting with a number of duties including:
- Clearing a backlog of outstanding debt and queries
- Chasing debt via internal solicitors and external clients
- Resolving client queries to ensure timely payment of debt
- Preparation of client statements and account history reconciliations for internal stakeholders and clients of the firm
- Regular and ad hoc reporting of ledger debt figures
- Ensuring that accounts are actioned in a prompt manner and within SRA guidelines
Experience required:
- Credit Control / AR experience within a commercial law firm, with knowledge of SRA guidelines
- Good Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise work and to work to deadlines
- Available on short notice
